I was born in a small town named Vilela, part of the county of Paredes, a region of Oporto, in the north of Portugal. With little more than 5000 people, it was the place I grew up until I moved to Denmark at the age of 21, back in October of 2010.
I completed my 3-year degree in Computer Sciences, oriented to Computer Engineering, at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto. After that, seeking a change in my life, I applied for a job as a designer for the LEGO Company, my long lost but never forgotten childhood dream. Today, I live my dream in Billund, Denmark, working as a Senior Designer, part of a team responsible for creating toys for different themes such as Star Wars, MARVEL, and DC Super Heroes, Simpsons, Ghostbusters, etc.
Music has always been a big part of my life and I couldn't imagine a day without it. I sang in a gospel choir in Vejle, where I live now, and I have other musical projects going on, both solo and in collaboration with other musicians. I've also been writing my own music and already got some originals recorded.
At the beginning of 2016, I entered the TV show Danmark Har Talent and reached the semi-finals. Later in the summer of the same year, I was invited to participate in the Portuguese version of the world-famous show The Voice, having reached the quarter-finals (top 3 in my own team) in that competition.
Although heavily influenced by the pop/rock music scene, my style is quite broad and eclectic, drawing inspiration from the storytelling richness of Country, the melodic vocals of R&B and Soul to the harmonized arrangements of Gospel.
I'm a social, creative, and dynamic kind of person. I constantly have different projects going on at the same time - both on a professional and personal level. It's my way of staying sane and alive.
