Younamit (originally called nam'it® project) was born in August of 2011.

Settled at my new job as a product designer, I was missing drawing and working with digital illustrations - tasks that I typically don't have at work. My experience with vectorial illustration was very limited and I needed some motivation to invest time in developing my skills. All that, together with my wish of doing something to "give back" a little, ended up leading me to start up this personal project.

In order to ensure that I would stay committed to keeping this project alive, I decided right from the start that any money I could possibly make with it would be donated to a charitable cause.

You can find more about how the Younamit project works on the FAQ page.
